Arts Teach All at Mystery Festival

RiverPark Center

The June program for Arts Teach All will feature mysterious comedy at the International Mystery Writers’ Festival. The program will be 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, June 20, at RiverPark Center. Those who attend will be treated to “Flemming: An American Thriller.” This farce is full of humorous twists and turns. An unassuming businessman decides to become a private detective in the midst of a mid-life crisis, but the life crisis is only beginning. Samuel Bobrick's play is full of witty dialogue that fades in and out of murders, madness and many, many mixed drinks. More information about the performance is available at www.NewMysteries.org . The price is $15 per person and includes lunch. There is a limit of 25 for this program, and reservations will be made on a first-come first-serve basis. To make a reservation, contact Tracy Marksberry at The Learning Community at tmarksberry@owensboro.com or 663-1049. This program is part of the Arts Teach All, a collaboration that includes the International Bluegrass Museum, Owensboro Museum of Fine Art, Owensboro Area Museum of Science and History, Owensboro Dance Theatre, Owensboro Public Art Commission, Owensboro Symphony Orchestra, RiverPark Center, Theatre Workshop of Owensboro and Western Kentucky Botanical Garden.
